Terms of use

Your profile

• Create a profile only for a business you own or are authorised to represent.
• Keep the information accurate. Do not list products, services, brands or verifications you do not have.
• You are responsible for what you publish: text, photos, videos, articles, answers and opportunities.

Networking

• Connections are business relationships. Send requests that are relevant, and respect a declined request.
• Contact details shared with you as a connection are for doing business with that business – not for resale, scraping or bulk messaging.
• You may block or report any business.

Content and moderation

• Articles are reviewed before they are published. Reviews are moderated. Questions and opportunities may be hidden if they break these terms.
• One review per person per business. Reviews of your own business, paid reviews and fake reviews are removed.
• MBN may suspend a profile or an account that is misleading, abusive or unlawful.

Ranking and verification

• Search results are ordered by profile completeness, then reviews, then alphabetically. Positions are not sold.
• A verification badge states what MBN checked at the time. It is not a guarantee of a business’s conduct, quality or solvency.

Opportunities

“I need” and “I can supply” posts help businesses find each other. MBN does not guarantee leads, responses or deals, and is not a party to any transaction between businesses.

The service

Creating a business profile is free. MBN is provided as it is; we work to keep it available and correct, and we may change features as the platform grows.
