What is MBN?
MBN – My Business Network is a business discovery, networking and business identity platform. A business creates a profile, is found by category, product, service and city, connects with other businesses, shares its profile and publishes what it knows.
Who can join MBN?
Any business: retailers, dealers, distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, service providers, professionals, consultants, traders, startups and local businesses. You sign up with a mobile number or an email address and a one-time code.
Is creating a business profile free?
Yes. Creating a business profile on MBN is free.
How does business discovery work?
People search by business name, category, product, service and city. Results are ordered by profile completeness first, then by review-based criteria, then A–Z. A position in search results is not sold.
How can I share my business profile?
From your profile you can share it by WhatsApp, by email, by copying its link, through your phone’s own share menu, or as a QR code that you can print on a card, a bill or a counter stand.
Can I control who sees my contact information?
Yes. Every contact field – mobile, email, WhatsApp and address – has its own visibility: Public, Connections only or Private. You choose each one, and a newly added contact starts as Private.
What is profile completeness?
A score out of 100 made of eleven parts, including mobile and email verification, your business description, categories, products and services, address, business hours, website or social links, and photos. The more complete and useful your profile, the better your business can be discovered. The score is earned by filling in your profile; it cannot be bought.
Can I publish business articles?
Yes, once your profile is at least 80% complete (a threshold MBN’s administrators can adjust). Articles are reviewed before they are published, and each one carries your business name with a link to your profile.
How does business verification work?
Each badge states exactly what was checked: your mobile number, your email address, your GST registration, your business documents, or your membership of a trade association. MBN does not show a “trust score”, and a badge is not a guarantee about a business.
Can businesses from different categories connect?
Yes. A business of any category can connect with a business of any other – a retailer with a distributor, a builder with a chartered accountant. Opportunities (“I need” and “I can supply” posts) work across categories too. MBN helps businesses find each other; it does not guarantee leads.
